Having trouble sleeping at night?



Try these few suggestions and tips for better rest!


Have you ever tried searching for guided sleep meditations on YouTube or Spotify opposed to listening to music during the evening? Or listening to white noise while trying to sleep?


Improve your rest by trying some these tips if possible:

•set a curfew

•sleep in a comfortable environment

•pillows-no matter how many it takes

•focus on your breathes/ do breathing exercises

•limit screen time/blue light exposure time prior to sleep

•avoid using substances like caffeine, alcohol, weed, nicotine, etc. prior to bedtime, as they can lead to having a drowsy morning

•get exercise before rest

•take care of yourself, your health, your body, before getting into bed

•good sleep hygiene

•eye mask and/or earplugs

•turn your phone on dnd or focus mode

•meditate/guided sleep meditation

•listen to white noise

•don’t eat a couple hours before bed time

•gentle yoga movements/stretches

•read before bed to tire the eyes and mind

•reserve your bed for sleep

•put on relaxing videos, shows and movies

•take care of all responsibilities/stressors before bed

•cut off the lights

•make bed/nest prior to getting in bed

•eat a good dinner
